We do not use generic decor materials. Every wall sculpture is shaped from a fiberglass shell, sealed, primed and painted with the same PPG automotive lacquer system used in motorsport. The result is a depth, gloss and colour accuracy that reads correctly under gallery lighting.

What is car wall art?
Car wall art is sculptural wall decor built from or inspired by real automobiles. At Shamil Design Lab, pieces range from half-scale Formula 1 body sections to full 1:1 automotive silhouettes, finished in PPG automotive lacquer and mounted as museum-grade wall installations.
What materials are used for automotive wall sculptures?
Each automotive wall sculpture starts with a hand-shaped fiberglass shell, then receives a multi-coat PPG automotive paint finish, polished clear coat, and metallic accents. The same materials used in motorsport and coachbuilding ensure the piece reads as a real car body, not a prop.
Can I commission a custom car wall art piece?
Yes. Every piece is made to order. You can choose the donor car, scale, livery, colour, and finish. Commissions are signed, numbered, and shipped worldwide. Contact the studio via WhatsApp or email to begin.
How do I install a Formula 1 wall sculpture?
Half-scale and 1:1 wall sculptures require a reinforced wall fixing and a minimum viewing radius of around two metres. The studio supplies installation guidance and can coordinate with your contractor for larger suspended or full-scale pieces.

Yes. Shamil Design Lab has delivered automotive sculptures and furniture to collectors across 24 countries. Each piece is crated for freight and insured for international shipment.
